Why your belly won't budge
So you know the one thing the next four lessons fix

Welcome to lesson 1. Over five short lessons, I'll show you exactly what I did. Today is the big picture. The next four are one step each.
If you're like most men over 40, this isn't the first fitness advice you've seen. Most of it is pills, crunch challenges and 6-day programs built for 25-year-olds. There's none of that here. Nothing in this course is new. What's new is doing both halves, to the T, every week.
What you're getting today
- Why cutting back harder keeps the belly right where it is
- The four boxes every man over 40 lands in, and the one that loses the belly
- The exact macros I eat, and your numbers in 2 minutes
Why it matters
You've probably done one of these. You went to the gym for months, maybe years, with nothing to show for it. Or you cut back: skipped breakfast, smaller dinners, less and less. You got tired and hungry, and the belly stayed. That's not a willpower problem. It's a missing-half problem.
How this helps you
Once you see which box you're in, you stop wasting months on the half that doesn't work alone. Every week you train and eat from here on actually moves the belly.
Part 1: the four boxes
Every man trying to lose the belly lands in one of four boxes. It depends on two questions: do you have a workout plan, and do you have a nutrition plan?
Most men live in one of the first three. The belly lives there too.
Part 2: both, or don't bother
Here's the tough part, and it's fair: if you're not willing to commit to both a workout plan and a nutrition plan, don't bother with the other four lessons.
I spent six months in the gym on my own. Stronger, but the belly barely moved. The gym builds the muscle. Your food burns the belly.
Part 3: the right macros
The nutrition plan has to have the right macros. Not just "eat less."
- 40% protein. Protein first.
- 35% carbs. Carbs to train.
- 25% fat. Fat to stay human.
Your daily calories: your weight × 10. 200 lbs = 2,000 calories. Then split them 40 / 35 / 25. When I started eating this way, I lost 9 pounds in the first month, almost all fat, and kept my muscle. And I'm not done. This is only the beginning for me.
Next: tomorrow, why the belly that showed up after 40 never leaves on its own, and the one change that finally moved mine.
If you're serious about losing the belly, you're going to like the whole plan behind this course: the Fitness Control Starter Bundle. The Your Fat Loss Plan ebook, the Fitness Control App, and the private community with its 6 courses. There's a student price for people taking this course, and I'll tell you about it properly after lesson 5.
If you're not there yet, fine. The next lesson will still help you.
